Manufacturer of Vinyl/SuperVinyl Ester Resin
Resin with epoxy backbone offering enhanced mechanical, temeperature and corrosin resistance properties
Vinyl ester resin are classified separately from polyesters even though they are room temperature resins but unlike polyesters they have an epoxy backbone and offer enhanced mechanical and corrosion resistance properes. Standard vinyl ester based on Bisphenol –A epoxy , are methacrylated epoxy difunconal polyester and are limited O to a maximum operang temperature of 105 C in most applicaons. Superior vinyl ester are based on Novolac Epoxy O and have a higher funconality with limitaon upto 140 C. These resin have excellent corrosion resistance to acids, alkalis, hypochlorites and many other solvents. Vinyl ester resin is also recommended for marine applicaons involving high speed performance cras.
